In essense, the choice to believe in fate, destiny or a pre set future, is the choice undertaken by individuals plagued by lazines, and perhaps a reluctance to trust in their own abilities to change things. It is a disbelief created by circumstances and experiences in our world.

On the other hand, i choose to believe in the power of choice, where the path i walk is the path that i will choose to walk and any suprises and shortfalls that come my way are merely rocks to stumble my advance.

Such a mentality took much cultivation and faith for the matter.

Isnt it so easy to blame everything on fate?

Where perhaps even in the lowest ebb of one's life, the choice to pick oneself up lies simply in the individual's ability to assume a positive attitude and take active actions to rectify or remedy their unfortunate circumstances, people blindly choose to indulge in self pity and wallow in the fallacy that the fault for their downfalls lie in Fate.

To those who still hang on to the belief of fate, "dont tempt fate", this phrase will be advice coined in your realm of belief, in mine, "dont create circumstances of doubt" which may hinder your walk. To tempt fate would be to create opportunities for failure, and opportunities for the destruction of all things beautiful. If one has doubt, do not tempt fate with your own tests and trials for the simple theory of the Butterfly Effect will spell out that such harmless actions will reap drastic circumstances beyond your own very understanding. More often than not, it comes back to kick you in the ass. If there is doubt, move actively to change your circumstance, for more often than not circumstances have this tendency to take control of your life if you decide to remain idle and spectate from afar.

Temperance is the solution. It's virtue grants clarity and vision for the future, but at the same time it requires much effort and will power to excercise its wonderous solutions to your problem. Granted with this trait, i have burnt out trying to change things that i cannot change, leaving me little energy and strength to affect things which i could have changed.

But i guess im back in the game, its time for me to let go of things i cannot change and learn to accept them and redevote my energies to influence changes in things that i have power over. Faith will be the fuel for this journey.
