Lucid Delusions

The rain fell that night,
with no sign of the rainbow after.
I stumbled carelessly through the cold,
my face to the darkened sky,
who yielded no sunlight nor answers.
Clarity for a moment as my vision blurred.
Briefly the pitch became vibrant aquamarine,
as the descending vials fell no more,
and in its place a storm of pink petals.
The harsh wind embraces me intimately,
covering me in her warmth of summer.
Then I blinked,
and the cherry blossoms were no more,
even the sun refused to shine,
as the world became ominous.
I stopped to light a fire,
inhaling deeply my incense to the Gods.
I consciously blinked again.
