Monotones

Take away colours,
show me true ones beneath.
Show me uncoloured reality;
a world without lies,
a world as it is.
A world unspoiled by colours,
a world unspoiled by perspective,
a world unspoiled by illusions.
Show me reality as you know it,
pure uncomprimising and true.
Look beyond shades,
seek the world in its purest form.
Simplicity clarity and beauty,
that is grey.
Ignore all distractions,
forget colours,
this is the future of fashion,
where colours fade away,
and red white and yellow are but shades,
shades of white and grey.
