Its been a while isnt it, been a while since i took a lengthier more reflective take on my entries in a while. All my faithful readers out there, i know you crave for a snippet of joey's insights to life, and here today i will give it to you, a world through my eyes.
A gentle reminder though is that if its meaning and affirmation you find, this is not the place. Close this browser, shut down your computer and go live a real life. The world is not restricted to the electronic boudnaries of the internet, the world is around you. Look beyond the concrete and stare up at the least blemished thing that still exists and have existed since the dawn of time. Look at the skies and behold the colours, the rainbows, the clouds and the mysterious stars that checker the flawless night skies. The world is not shopping centres or the colourful orchard road, the world is the gentle breeze that caress your face as you trod care free through the sun stroked grass of lushly emerald green as you inhale the perfume of blooming red roses.
That is the world.
I could write about it but im a hypocrite, i have not seen it. The world to me has in many ways been restriceted to the more menial things i have already mentioned above but that is our world for now. Indeed it must be said that we are bonded and our wings cruelly clipped by the many rules of the world, one of which is the selfish commercialistion of nature, the unreasonable need to pay money in exchange for a glimpse of what God has truly made for us.
How quaint isnt it? Ill leave you all with this thought.
The world is what you want to make of it. I build mine around the people i love and care for.
