Walking along that very same road for years, we finally stand at the crossroads. At this juncture, i look back, considering the inevitability of it all and yet the new hopes and dreams our forked paths may carry us.
For years, fellow wayfarers sharing my less trodden paths have come and gone and now yet again comes that dreaded yet hopeful divergence of our destiny.
For me, it is the fear of the unknown ahead that frightens me, the fear of having to go forward without the usual travellers in this long road called life. But it must be said indeed that each has his own destiny and truly only so few will walk this path to the very end. But let us not be sad, let us relish in the fact that God has prepared a unique dream and destiny for all of us. Walking along the roads that now seperate us, it is comforting to know that each path lies not too far away ;)
I need a hug.
