Today it Rained
I stood still,
glancing passively,
as the world moved by,
stopping for noone,
as time flows,
uncaringly.
I stood looking up,
at the skies that were once,
familiar things,
happy memories,
of shades of blue,
but today it cried,
tears of serenity,
as i bathed in its soothing embrace.
i stood for an eternity,
praying for that rainbow after,
deeply inhaling the incense,
which is death,
as i took in the gift,
a merciful gift of peace,
as i watched the world go by,
without a care.
As quickly as it begun,
i blinked,
and all i saw were grey skies,
and alll i wore were damp clothes,
as i stood alone in the cold,
waiting for someone,
anyone to hold me.
