Time waits for no one. So true is this saying when i look back at memories of times past, memories cherished and pained both alike.
In a blink of an eye, i sailed once again past the stormy trials of examinations, venturing bravely into the brave new world of a Year 3 student in NUS. More importantly, is the exams are OVER. The pain has ended, and like the passing of the rain, a rainbow awaits, the vibrant colours of my summer vacation beckons!
Now, let us take a moment's peace to remember all those who walked with me but journeys here no longer. Just a minute or two that they may live on in our memories.
Granddad, you will always be remembered.
Zamri: Someday, "Jo Kum and the Flying Socks" will rule the air ways.
Mark: There is more smoke when it rains, i truly agree.
Chien Hao: Take Care and study hard! Words that i hold close event ill this day.
Like leaves to the cool green earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Not mortally binded by their bodies, their souls are free to discover what lies beyond. May they all rest in peace and through our memories live on forever.
On a heartier note! May Third marks my 13th month with Amm. Celebrating it together with Nick and Su was memorable. Love you loads my sweetheart. I will miss u when u go on your short trip to Thailand.
For now, slow down, take a look at the beauty all around you. Inhale the rain for its scent grants renewal to the beholder. Let its gentle caress ease the pain from your corporeality, and for a brief moment, your existence will coalesce with the world, and all will fall away.
