Limitations abound when one thinks about resolutions and choices. More often than not, a set path is placed before you, a journey of sacrifice, but one of happiness and joy. The social contract some may call it. Politically, that is the workings of this world and we are all inseparable from this system of exchange. May it be your office, your family, your home, these predetermined choices lay in wait and deviating off them have more often than not proven costly, or painful. But some say that individuality comes from defying such systems, moderates like myself say to use the system and live symbiotically with it rather than rebelling against it. More extreme others would cite setting up entirely new orders of existences, these thoughts belong to the revolutionaries. I see myself more as a reformist, and as time goes by, we can learn to fit into the system, as we make the system fit us.
